Vandenberg AFB, California is the home of 14th Air Force, the headquarters for space units, and the home of missile and space training and test units. The host units at Vandenberg before 14AF have been the 1st Missile Division, 1957 to 1961, 1st Strategic Aerospace Division, 1961 to 1990, Strategic Missile Center, 1990-1991, 20th Air Force, 1991 to 1993, when it moved to Warren AFB. and 14AF since 1993. Through its history, Vandenberg has been the home to a number of missile test, training, operational, evaluation and other units.
